The Necromancy Trials is a level-based puzzle platformer where you play as a young sorcerer clearing dungeon levels in order to graduate from necromancy school. Rather than avoiding death, you must die strategically, reanimate yourself to solve puzzles, and escape the trap-filled dungeon.
I developed all of the scripts for this project in C#.
I created all of the art assets in Procreate and added animations with Unity's 2D rigging tool.
I created animated cutscenes with interactability in Unity's Timeline tool.
I created all of the music assets in Garage Band.
I designed and programmed all of the UI layouts and functionality.
I designed all 20 puzzle levels with progressing difficulty.
I developed necromancy mechanics that allow players to control zombies, move bones, and respawn as a separate character on death.
I went through the phases of ideating, prototyping, producing, and publishing in a 5-week long game jam to create this game.
